Adding Extensions To Golf Club Shafts
Another possible route a tall person can take is manually adding extensions to regular size golf clubs. Or get them fitted at a Pro Shop for a small fortune.
However you can add extensions to your shaft yourself, but I would avoid adding more than an inch or it can get a bit creeky. Adding an extension will affect the clubs weight which can affect your swing speed. But these universal plastic extensions are lightweight and you shouldn’t notice much at all. But don’t overdo it and add more than 1 inch. It can break as they are only plastic. According to Golf Works these extension shafts should work for most steel and graphite golf clubs.
